heres a new piece, maybe my first finished work of 2014. i say maybe because the text was made before it was printed on the found framed paper, and the text itself either as a digital file or when printed on paper is itself a work(seen below). 

i really like the simplicity of making work with a computer and a simple inkjet printer. the whole studio fits in your backpack. although in my most Benjamin moment i do believe that the work is not actually finished until it is printed out, physically edited, framed/mounted, and above all signed and dated. touched by the artist. 

could i be making this once discarded framed illustration immortal by printing an image on it and pronouncing it as a piece of artwork aka something that i now care enough about to document, preserve and maybe even attach a monetary value to? who knows.. thats why the work was made.
