the paper mill

Trips to the paper mill outside of Hudson: 

a roll of paper that has been left to the elements 

it was an overall eerie feeling walking around outside of the mill. Abbie had been watching alot of law and order svu at the time and it was on my mind so when i turned around a bush and found this raccoon skeleton my first thought was please done let this be some human baby remains svu shit. thankfully it was a raccoon picked clean by vultures and everything else wild that comes here.

Rambo was all over this building

So i have been here twice now and the last time i went was after a spring of heavy rains so all the brush was so over grown. I ended up getting a tick that gave me Anaplasmosis. two weeks of high fever separated by 5 normal days. the whole thing has ended up with almost 6 weeks just deleted out of my life. thankfully i was able to go to the studio after a while and get some work done for my upcoming shows. 

worst moment of the fever was when i was upstate at the house totally alone and the sun had just gone down so i decide to go to sleep. i go upstairs and get in bed only to wake up an hour later in a total daze, unable to recognize where i was. i just remember looking around the bedroom and at one of the cats and thinking who's cat is this? what room am i in? where the fuck am i? i wander downstairs and sit on the couch because i started sweating profusely and it took me about 10 minutes to begin to recognize things and realize i was in my own home. felt like waking from a dream over the course of 30 minutes.

Chair Paintings?

 thinking about it. painting only a chair feels like painting a portrait for me.
